The IO subsystem of the current server couldn’t really keep up with importing regular diffs and keeping the full planet database up to date.
A new server with sufficiently fast SSDs in addition to rotating rust is currently being set up. Currently it isn’t running all services yet (especially no copy of this blog instance yet), but the MapOSMatic and Neighborhood Plan instances can already be tested.
Instances on the new server are located in the test.osm-baustelle.de subdomain, so the MapOSMatic instance can be tested under
