{"id":260,"date":"2018-02-10T09:36:38","date_gmt":"2018-02-10T09:36:38","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blog.get-map.org\/?p=260"},"modified":"2018-02-10T09:36:38","modified_gmt":"2018-02-10T09:36:38","slug":"gpx-upload-improvements","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blog.get-map.org\/index.php\/2018\/02\/10\/gpx-upload-improvements\/","title":{"rendered":"GPX upload improvements"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a name=\"preamble\"><\/a> <\/p>\n<p>After hopefully having sorted out all problems caused by the rusher migration to a new, faster server I&#8217;ve now finally figured out how to improve the user interface for GPX uploads.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>The three notable changes are:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li> Creating a map now starts with the &#8220;Geographic area&#8221; tab selected as default instead of &#8220;City search&#8221;. This is needed to make sure that the map is properly initialized before a possible GPX upload. <\/li>\n<li> The GPX upload form step near the end of the form workflow has been replaced with a third input mode tab in the first step, labeled &#8220;GPX track&#8221;.
