{"id":17,"date":"2016-08-14T15:20:18","date_gmt":"2016-08-14T15:20:18","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blog.get-map.org\/?p=17"},"modified":"2022-09-27T23:19:06","modified_gmt":"2022-09-27T23:19:06","slug":"osm-summer-camp-2016-essen","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blog.get-map.org\/index.php\/2016\/08\/14\/osm-summer-camp-2016-essen\/","title":{"rendered":"OSM Summer Camp 2016 &#8211; Essen"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a name=\"preamble\"><\/a> <\/p>\n<p>I just returned from this years <a href=\"http:\/\/wiki.openstreetmap.org\/wiki\/SommerCamp_2016\">OSM Summer Camp<\/a>, held in combination with the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.fossgis.de\/wiki\/FOSSGIS_Hacking_Event_2016_Nummer_6\">sixth FOSSGIS hacking event<\/a> in and around the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.linuxhotel.de\/\">Linuxhotel<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Aside from celebrating the 12th OSM birthday I continued to hack on my local href=&#8221;<a href=\"http:\/\/maposmatic.osm-baustelle.de\">MapOSMatic instance<\/a>, the <a href=\"http:\/\/umgebuntsplaene.osm-baustelle.de\">web editor for printable neighborhood maps<\/a>, and MariaDB\/MySQL and SpatiaLite backends for osm2pgsql.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<hr>\n<h2><a name=\"_maposmatic\"><\/a>MapOSMatic<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li> fixed a typo that broke multi page map output <\/li>\n<li> prepared for updating the database once per day <\/li>\n<li> enabled OpenTopoMap style (but without contour lines so far) <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<hr>\n<h2><a name=\"_neighborhood_plans\"><\/a>Neighborhood plans<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li> rearranged icons in the sidebar <\/li>\n<li> fixed broken documentation link <\/li>\n<li> see also this separate <a href=\"http:\/\/blog.get-map.org\/index.php\/2016\/08\/13\/customize-poi-maps-for-your-neighbourhood\/\">separate blog post<\/a> about it <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<hr>\n<h2><a name=\"_osm2anysql\"><\/a>osm2anysql<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li> finished the port of my previous MySQL output layer to the new C++ code base of osm2pgsql <\/li>\n<li> added a SQLite\/SpatiaLite output backend, too <\/li>\n<li> started to clean up my changes to bring them into mergeable form <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>A more detailed post about this endeavor will follow soon, for now you can check out <a href=\"https:\/\/github.com\/hholzgra\/osm2pgsql\/tree\/hartmut-mysql\">the corresponding branch on GitHub<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I just returned from this years OSM Summer Camp, held in combination with the sixth FOSSGIS hacking event in and around the Linuxhotel.
