{"id":11,"date":"2016-08-13T00:39:48","date_gmt":"2016-08-13T00:39:48","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blog.get-map.org\/?p=11"},"modified":"2016-08-13T00:51:33","modified_gmt":"2016-08-13T00:51:33","slug":"customize-poi-maps-for-your-neighbourhood","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blog.get-map.org\/index.php\/2016\/08\/13\/customize-poi-maps-for-your-neighbourhood\/","title":{"rendered":"Customize POI maps for your neighbourhood"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a name=\"preamble\"><\/a> <\/p>\n<p>I created a <a href=\"http:\/\/umgebungsplaene.osm-baustelle.de\/\">new web frontend<\/a> to the MapOSMatic rendering backend that supports putting POI markers on a slippy map and then renders a map with markers set on the map and a customized index sidebar that contains given marker titles and icons.<\/p>\n<p>There&#8217;s also <a href=\"http:\/\/umgebungsplaene.osm-baustelle.de\/Documentation\/map-doc.html\">preliminary documentation<\/a> and, of course, a <a href=\"https:\/\/github.com\/hholzgra\/umgebungsplaene\">GitHub repository<\/a> for it.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>As the project was originally meant for creating neighbourhood plans for refugee shelters in Germany it currently has a fixed &#8220;Refugees welcome&#8221; Icon in the map title bar along with the OSM icon.
